The YESS Pilot has Concluded
Along with five brand/retailer sponsors, RSN conducted YESS pilot assessments at eight yarn spinning or fabric mills in 2021-2022. To prepare the spinners and mills for success, and to start building comprehension and capacity throughout the industry, RSN offered two sets of five online pilot training modules (five designed for spinners and five designed for mills). In addition, RSN provided tools and resources to support successful assessments. The sourcing teams and staff of companies that are sponsoring YESS are welcome to view the trainings (current YESS Sponsors can visit the YESS Portal).
After the initial pilot assessments, the mills had three months to implement non-conformance issues during the Improvement Action Period (IAP). The attached Pilot Report was updated in October, 2022 to reflect the learnings from the IAP.
